TVG REACHES DEAL FOR EXCLUSIVE BROADCAST RIGHTS FOR SUFFOLK DOWNS
Agreement Precedes Track’s Opening Day May 3

LOS ANGELES (May 2, 2008) – TVG, America’s Horseracing Network, has entered into a new long-term agreement with Suffolk Downs for the wagering and exclusive media rights for horse races at the Boston track, recognized as New England’s preeminent thoroughbred racing venue.

“We are excited to add the world-class horseracing at Suffolk Downs to our television network and wagering platforms,” said David Nathanson, General Manager and Senior Vice President of TVG. “Expanding our relationship will allow us to continue to provide premier coverage of horseracing from New England to fans worldwide.”

Home to the Massachusetts Handicap, the 2008 Suffolk Downs racing season begins May 3 and includes an expanded schedule of nine open stakes. This fall, TVG will be on-site broadcasting live from the 66th MassCap on September 20. The MassCap is a qualifying race in the Breeders’ Cup Challenge “Win and You’re In Classic Division.”

“TVG has been a great partner of Suffolk Downs and we are pleased to both extend and expand our relationship with the network,” said Chip Tuttle, Chief Operating Officer of Suffolk Downs. “TVG’s commitment to televising more Suffolk Downs races increases the exposure of our product and should help drive wagering.”
