LOS ANGELES (August 1, 2008) – TVG, America’s Horseracing Network, will offer live on-site coverage of the $1 million Haskell Invitational (GI) at Monmouth Park on Sunday, August 3, featuring the return of Kentucky Derby and Preakness Winner, Big Brown.

The 1 1/8 mile Haskell Invitational, the richest invitational Thoroughbred race in America, is the centerpiece of Monmouth Park’s summer meeting and an important post-Triple Crown test for three-year-olds. The race provides a snapshot of the competition that will run in the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic at Santa Anita Park this October.

TVG analysts Todd Schrupp, Jill Byrne, Frank Lyons and Hall of Fame Jockey Chris McCarron will provide live trackside reporting and handicapping information as well as their expert insights on the field. TVG will be live at Monmouth Park beginning at noon ET covering all 14 races on Sunday’s card. Post time for the Haskell Invitational, the 13th race of the day, is 6:14 p.m. ET. TVG’s live coverage of the Haskell Invitational will be simulcast live on FSN West, Sun Sports, MSG Plus, SportSouth and Altitude from 5:30-6:30 p.m. ET.
