Weeklong Broadcast Line-Up to Feature Workouts From Santa Anita, Kentucky and Tracks Around the Country

LOS ANGELES (October 17, 2008) – TVG, America’s Horseracing Network, will deliver television’s most comprehensive lead-in coverage of the $25.5 million Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Oct. 24-25 at Santa Anita, with a week of special programming. .

Coverage begins with The Works on Friday, Oct. 17, one of five special Breeders’ Cup editions of The Works airing through Oct. 23. Providing in-depth analysis, interviews and on-site coverage of the morning workouts of Breeders’ Cup contenders at racetracks across the nation, The Works will feature Hall of Fame jockey Chris McCarron (nine-time Breeders’ Cup winner, five Breeders’ Cup Classic victories), former trainer Frank Lyons (saddled Desert Stormer to victory in the 1995 Breeders’ Cup Sprint), trainer Tom Amoss (saddled six past Breeders’ Cup starters), and TVG host Todd Schrupp.

The Works will also feature the exclusive “Kentucky Report” with TVG analyst Jill Byrne reporting directly from the Bluegrass State, along with Christina Olivares delivering up-to-the-minute Breeders’ Cup information and updates in “News of the Day.”
