LOS ANGELES (December 23, 2008) – TVG, America’s Horseracing Network, announced today that it will be taking wagers on all races from Santa Anita’s Winter/Spring Meet beginning Wednesday, December 26. The network will also provide subscribers with access to streaming video of all races during the meet, which runs through April 19. On opening day through January 10, 2009, TVG will offer new subscribers four months of free video streaming to watch the races from Santa Anita at www.TVG.com.

“TVG subscribers have the opportunity to wager on races at Santa Anita and watch the action online,” said David Nathanson, president of TVG. “As TVG continues to grow and reach new horseracing fans, we want to provide new account holders with the best subscriber services available to experience the sport and the excitement of wagering.”

The marquee races of the Winter/Spring Meet include the $1 million Santa Anita Handicap (GI), scheduled for Saturday, March 7, and the $750,000 Santa Anita Derby (GI), scheduled for Saturday, April 4.
