Haskell Invitational is one of the premier race events on the East Coast; in 1987, only a pair of necks separated Bet Twice, Alysheba, and Lost Code at the wire. . .United Nations Handicap, a turf fixture at Atlantic City for four decades, will be run at Monmouth commencing in 1999. . . children ages 12 and under are admitted free at Monmouth; senior citizens admitted for half-price.
