SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON SARATOGA
It’s a graded-stakes extravaganza at the Spa this three-day weekend, with seven stakes races on tap to close out another terrific Saratoga meet. On Saturday, two important Grade Ones highlight the card: the 7-furlong $500,000 Forego (G1) and the 9-furlong $750,000 Woodward (G1)—TVG’s Saturday Spotlight Race. Both star-studded events should have Breeders’ Cup implications, and both are part of NYRA’s Guaranteed $500,000 Late Pick Four. On Sunday, the spotlight shines on juvenile fillies in the $300,000 Spinaway Stakes (G1), TVG’s Sunday Spotlight Race—while Monday’s Labor Day action features the $300,000 Three Chimneys Hopeful (G2), for 2-year-old stars, and the $150,000 Glens Falls (G3), for turf ladies. Post time for Saturday and Sunday’s cards is the traditional 1:00 p.m./ET, but Monday’s card will have a special first post of 12:30 p.m./ET. GO MOBILE AT DEL MAR
Labor Day weekend might symbolize the end of summer, but it’s just the beginning of another great weekend of racing action “Where the Turf Meets the Surf.” On Saturday, 2-year-old fillies take center stage in the $300,000 Del Mar Debutante (G1), and main-track milers duke it out in the $85,000 Harry F. Brubaker Stakes—but that’s not all: place a $25 win wager on any horse at Del Mar using TVG’s mobile wagering platform, and you’ll get your $25 back if your horse loses but finishes second by a head or less. Then on Sunday, three stakes races—including the prestigious $300,000 Del Mar Derby (G2)—anchor the card, while Monday’s Labor Day card showcases another triple-header of stakes racing, including the $100,000 Oak Tree Juvenile Fillies Turf and the $250,000 Yellow Ribbon (G2). As always, TVG is proud to present the Guaranteed $500,000 Late Pick Four on both Saturday and Sunday’s cards.
