Zee 109, Rocket Time 108 Pace: Moderate Noteworthy: Kobe’s Back should be a force moving up in class; needs to break better at higher levels Upgrade: Big return effort for Jessica’s Star, should do better around two turns Downgrade: Bourbon Courage showed nothing for second consecutive race, underlay going forward G3 Shakertown S Turf 5.5 furlongs 4yo+ Top 3: Something Extra 116, Channel Marker 111, Undrafted106 Pace: Fast Noteworthy: Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint will be run over course, likely several of the same horses will run Upgrade: Undrafted drew wide post and lost ground, better suited to more distance, Japuir repeat next? Downgrade: Zee Bros is more reputation than performance Santa Anita G1 Santa Anita Derby Dirt 1 1/8 miles 3yo Top 3: Dortmund 114, One Lucky Dane 110, Bolo 107 Pace: Solid Noteworthy: Dortmund will head to Kentucky a perfect 6 for 6 Upgrade: Bolo was wide on both turns Downgrade: Prospect Park had small traffic trouble but still should have been able to get the show spot G1 Santa Anita Oaks S Dirt 1 1/16 miles 3yo F Top 3: Stellar Wind 103, Luminance 99, Wild At Heart 94 Pace: Solid Noteworthy: Winner now three for three at a mile or longer Upgrade: Stellar Wind finally got a decent pace and exploded later, better with more distance and pace Downgrade: Curlin’s Fox had nothing late, maybe better on return to turf Oaklawn G3 Fantasy S Dirt 1 1/16 miles 3yo F Top 3: Include Betty 95, Oceanwave 93, Achiever’s Legacy 94 Pace: Average Noteworthy: 3rd consecutive win on dirt for Include Betty Upgrade: Achiever’s Legacy was very wide on the turn and roughed up through the lane Downgrade: Sarah Sis was disappointing as second choice
