Hollywood Derby (G1) at Del Mar: Showed a profit in two of the four races analyzed this past weekend, including this one, when MO FORZA ($7.60) and NEPTUNE’S STORM ran one-two, allowing us to cash the $18.60 exacta three times.
Seabiscuit Handicap (G2) at Del Mar: Most handicappers thought SCARED LIFE (trained by Chad Brown) was the most likely winner of the race, and undoubtedly he was the best horse (two jumps past the wire), but that’s why racing luck plays such an important role in handicapping (unfortunately), so congratulations if you played NEXT SHARES ($56.40) and cashed!
Long Island (G3) at Aqueduct: Speaking of racing luck, there were EIGHT runners on the finish line at the end of this race with SI QUE ES BUENA ($4.60) getting her nose down first under a dramatic ride (and finish) by jockey Joel Rosario!
Discovery (G3) at Aqueduct: Pick the best horse, bet to win and you won’t go broke taking a profit, which is exactly what I did with PERFORMER ($6.40), a well-bred, lightly raced three-year-old who could be a factor in the older handicap division next year.
