One of just two stakes races in the country Sunday is the $100,000 Damon Runyon for three-year-old New York bred colts and geldings at Aqueduct. Dream Bigger, who drew the rail, is seeking to add a third stakes win to his resume.

Dream Bigger is a 3-1 option on the morning line. The son of Mission Impazible cost $205,000 as a juvenile and went on to break his maiden by nearly eleven lengths in stakes company at Finger Lakes. He then won the Notebook Stakes over this track before running second by a nose and third by three lengths in consecutive stakes here. Rudy Rodriguez trains for Repole Stable, and Junior Alvarado will ride.

More Graytful drew alongside. The son of Graydar jumps up into stakes company for trainer Brad Cox after breaking his maiden here in his third start. He had been second in his previous two tries with troubled trips.

Bourbon Bay is a 7-2 option with stakes experience. The Mark Hennig trainee was second in the open company Jerome Stakes, a Kentucky Derby prep, after breaking his maiden here sprinting. He was third in the Gander Stakes, which comes before this one in the series of New York bred races, while rallying into a slow pace. Manny Franco will ride this contender, a son of Bayern.

Scilly Cay was a stakes winner over this track sprinting two back, then ran fourth in the Gander. Linda Rice trains the son of Fed Biz, who was the winner of the Rego Park and ran second in the Notebook before that. Jose Lezcano will ride.

Chowda was 15-1 when he upset the Gander Stakes over many of the runners in here. He was coming off a restricted allowance win on January 17. He has had three wins in four tries over this surface.

Prince of Pharoahs is another legitimate contender at 6-1. Rice also trains this one, who broke his maiden at Belmont Park last year by five lengths, then ran second in the Jerome in a dead heat with Bourbon Bay. He was sixth in the graded Withers Stakes, then missed by a head behind Titan’s Will in an allowance race. Titan’s Will, who was 23-1 that day, completes the field.
