The Saturday feature at Santa Anita is the 1 1/8-mile Honeymoon Stakes (G3) on the grass for sophomore fillies. Watch TVG every day for live coverage of the racing at Santa Anita.

Laura’s Light, who was last seen finishing fourth as the favorite in the Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park, returns to California where she is a two-time stakes winner on the Santa Anita turf course. She took the Blue Norther on December 29, then added the Grade 3 Sweet Life on February 16. Like many horses, she has not run since mid-March, but has been working steadily at San Luis Rey Downs. Peter Miller trains the daughter of Constitution.

Tackling her will be Stela Star (Ire) on the outside. The daughter of Epaulette made her United States debut here March 7, running second by a half-length behind Warren’s Showtime in the China Doll Stakes. She was a group 3 winner in Ireland before being transferred and looks to have a bright future with trainer John Sadler. She worked a bullet on the training track here May 14.

Starting inside her is the Richard Mandella-trained Parkour. The daughter of Carpe Diem was a winner here March 22 under Mike Smith, who is back aboard for this. She has won two of five starts and did run fourth behind Laura’s Light in the Blue Norther Stakes.

Croughavouke (Ire) is still looking for a big win here. The Jeff Mullins trainee was Irish-trained before running second in a pair of Breeders’ Cup prep races, including the Surfer Girl over this course. She ran sixth, beaten four and a half lengths, in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) at 30-1 odds, and has since been fourth, second, and seventh in three more stakes starts. She finished second behind Laura’s Light here in December.

Guitty (Fr) will break from the rail. The stunning dark bay daughter of Dunkerque (Fr) is in the care of Leonard Powell, who trained her to consecutive wins at Del Mar last fall. She was fifth in the Blue Norther and sixth, beaten two and a half lengths, in the China Doll. Brice Blanc will ride.

K P Dreamin, Fashion Royalty, Little Bird, and Red Lark round out the field.
