The four graded stakes at Belmont Park on Saturday are topped by the $250,000 Just a Game Stakes (G1) with a knockout field of top contenders, including 2019 TVG Breeders’ Cup Mile heroine Uni. Wager on Belmont Park racing with TVG.com.

Uni (GB) has not been seen since winning the Breeders’ Cup Mile, but wintered in Florida and has been training steadily here at Belmont since May. The daughter of More Than Ready has ten wins in 18 starts and three wins in four tries on this course for trainer Chad Brown, who has three in the seven-horse field. Uni won the Grade 1 First Lady at Keeneland in October, and gets regular pilot Joel Rosario back aboard.

Her stiffest test could come from stablemate Newspaperofrecord (Ire). The 2018 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) heroine was winless in 2019 with two seconds, but after an 11-month layoff the daughter of Lope de Vega returned June 6 here to win by four lengths over seven furlongs in the Grade 3 Intercontinental. She earned a career highest Speed Figure for that event, and all systems seem go for 2020. Irad Ortiz, Jr. will be back aboard the filly, who has four wins in seven starts.

Got Stormy just missed to Uni in the Breeders’ Cup Mile after winning the Fourstardave (G1) over her and a field of males in August at Saratoga. The daughter of Get Stormy has since won the Grade 1 Matriarch, missed by a neck in the Grade 1 Frank E Kilroe, and run disappointing fourths in a pair of Grade 3 races, including last out here over 1 1/16 miles. Mark Casse trains and Luis Saez will be up for the first time.

Beau Recall drew the rail and looks to improve on running second in this race last year. Since then the Grade 2 winner added the Yellow Ribbon (G2) at Del Mar and was Grade 1 placed, but had a disappointing 2020 bow in the Mint Julep (G3) at Churchill Downs. She finished ninth, beaten just two lengths for the win in a blanket finish. Jose Ortiz will ride the Brad Cox filly for the first time.

Valedictorian, Regal Glory, and Zofelle complete the strong field.
