About Century Mile

Located about 18 miles south of Edmonton, Alberta, Century Mile is the only one-mile track in Western Canada. Opening in 2019, Century Mile replaced the old Northlands Park as the premier Thoroughbred racing destination in Alberta, and also hosts Quarter Horse and Standardbred racing throughout the year. It is now the host of the Grade 3 Canadian Derby as well as the Canadian Oaks in August.
