Racing at Fair Meadows

About Fair Meadows

Fair Meadows Tulsa is a county fair style race meet, with its dates scheduled between the two larger race meets in the state at Remington Park in Oklahoma City and Will Rogers Downs in Claremore. While the Tulsa State Fair attracts over one million patrons later each year, summertime horse racing at Fair Meadows is just one of many events offered throughout the year at the ever-expanding Expo Square. Races range in class from the lowest claiming price of $5,000 up to stakes races offered for each breed division. The stakes program is highlighted by the popular Futurities and Derby sponsored each year by Speedhorse. A state-of-the-art barn and paddock area is currently under construction and will be completed for the 2019 season.

Simulcast wagering is offered at the facility, and the legal gambling age in the state of Oklahoma is 18. Patrons are mixed in demographics, with fans of all ages visiting the facility to watch the live action unfold.

The track sits in a well-populated area and is easily accessible. The venue is only six miles from downtown Tulsa using the US-64 but also draw crowds from across the state including Oklahoma City, another 100 miles away. The Tulsa International Airport is less than seven miles from the track for out-of-state visitors.
